A 13-minute short that treats twins discovering they're siblings as a genuine emotional event, not a plot device to reset. The art carries the weight, quiet moments between Akane and Aoi feel heavier than they should in something this brief. You're not watching a story here; you're watching the manga whisper at you, betting you'll care enough to turn the next page.

Fourteen-year-old Akane is pretty, well liked and bursting with energy. Her twin brother Aoi is her opposite: he looks as small and harmless as a little animal, keeps to himself and is remarkably smart. Few would guess the two are twins. Akane has envied Aoi since early childhood, and as they grow up she keeps trying to outdo him. Adapted from Maki Youko's manga serialized in Ribon, the three short episodes aired on TV as Ribon x Oha Suta specials in 2014.
