The Eastern Han court has lost its grip on power, and unrest spreads across China. A huge band of rebels known as the Yellow Turbans commits violence throughout the land. Liu Bei, a descendant of royalty troubled by the state of the world, rises up alongside Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, who also long for peace.
