Kentarou Okamoto, a working hunter and manga artist, leaves Tokyo and moves to Okayama Prefecture with the goal of becoming a hunter himself. As a boy he lived in the countryside and knew an old man who hunted, and in 2009 he decides to take up hunting of his own. Armed with an air rifle and traps, he hunts a variety of animals, then prepares and eats what he catches. This short slice of life OVA, packaged with the limited edition sixth volume of the manga, draws on events from the first volume of his autobiographical hunting and wild food diary.
