The main show treats every fight like the world's ending. This one treats every character like they're hilarious. Brunhilde explaining why some random human deserves to fight a god, the Valkyries bickering about who's actually competent, gods talking about humans like they're rating a bad meal, it's the permission slip to enjoy these characters without the weight. You get the roster you already care about, except now they're allowed to be stupid and funny about it. No grand narrative, no stakes beyond the next laugh. It's what happens when a show this serious decides to have fun with itself.

Shuumatsu no Valkyrie Mini Anime is a comedic fantasy spin-off made up of 14 short web episodes. The cast of Shuumatsu no Valkyrie appear as super-deformed versions of themselves and chat about the humans and gods featured in the Netflix adaptation. The episodes were released online, mostly through the Warner Bros. Japan Anime YouTube channel and the official Record of Ragnarok Twitter account.
