Hiyori and Koharu don't fall in love over a dramatic confession. SYNOPSIS
Hiyori escapes to the beach whenever life feels overwhelming, and today is no exception. Her mother just remarried, and meeting her new stepfather fills her with dread. Instead, she seeks comfort in the one place that never changes: the ocean, where she learned to fish from her late father. There she meets Koharu, a girl drawn to the same shore by her own anxieties about an impending family dinner. Something clicks between them instantly. Hiyori teaches Koharu the basics of fishing, sharing knowledge passed down to her like a precious inheritance. But as they talk, a stunning coincidence emerges. Both girls are walking into the same house that night as newfound family members. What begins as a chance meeting at the water's edge becomes the foundation of something deeper. Slow Loop follows Hiyori and Koharu as they navigate their new blended family through fishing trips, quiet moments by the shore, and the gradual realization that sometimes the people we need find us exactly when we need them most.
