Nobody talks about this one. Four seasons pass in real time, no plot urgency, no character arcs that demand resolution, just a camera holding on the same spaces while light changes and people move through them like they're not being watched. The show trusts you to find the story in what doesn't happen. If you've ever sat on a porch for an hour and felt like you understood something without words, this is that experience distilled into film. It costs nothing but your willingness to stop looking for a reason things matter. They matter anyway.

A soundless stop-motion piece painted on glass by Koji Yamamura, built around the four seasons of spring, summer, fall, and winter. Yamamura made it in 1988, early in his career, and it is unclear whether it was ever shown publicly before he uploaded it to his own YouTube channel in 2019.
