Sonshin attends high school in Keishuu, China, a region the history books remember as a place of endless war during the Three Kingdoms era. He hates his city's history and wants nothing to do with it. Then a certain dream begins to trouble him, and after he wakes, strange things start happening one after another. Before he understands any of it, Gien, a general from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, is standing in front of him and trying to kill him. Just before the blade lands, a mysterious beautiful woman appears to face the attacker. Adapted from Bai Mao's Chinese novels, the action series is set in present-day China, where famous figures from history and the classic novel can be summoned with cards. At its center are Sonshin and Shuu Yu, a female general of Wu revived in the modern day.
