A third set of comedic Frieren shorts arrives alongside the second season of the TV anime, picking up the numbering at episode 18. The six ONA shorts came out between January and May 2026 on TOHO animation's official YouTube channel and on Frieren's Twitter and TikTok accounts. Each one centers on a single spell: magic that binds whoever sees it, magic that brings back a childlike heart, magic that swaps mind and body, magic for doing laundry, a second round of magic that makes someone say what they are thinking, and magic for basking in the things one longs for. The tone is light fantasy comedy in small doses.
