Taabou is out on his space patrol when he lands on an alien planet and clashes with the Scorpio Brothers. Another alien, Poyo, comes to his rescue, and Taabou chooses to help Poyo guard something the brothers are after. Leaving that world behind, the pair pass through a black hole and emerge near a watery planet with a palace that recalls the Urashima Tarou folktale. There the dragon god asks them to rescue a princess. The film is a space adventure retelling of that classic story, released theatrically as part of the Sanrio Anime Festival.
