Tenchi Muyou! Ryououki: Heian Muyo! is a single standalone picture drama that recasts the Tenchi Muyou Ryououki characters in Japan's Heian era. Tenchi and Mihoshi appear as samurai partners heading out to slay a demon, while Aeka yearns for Tenchi to come back. Yosho, in his Katsuhito form, Ryouko and Ryou-Ouki also take part in this period setting. The release blends comedy with drama and came out as part of PAC on VHS, with a laser disc edition apparently arriving around the same time.
