Brian's career as a detective hits rock bottom the moment he gets fired. Unemployed and directionless, he receives a strange letter, and following the address on it brings him to the Marginal Service, a secret underground branch of the United Nations. Its oddball crew of fearless men, one woman and a squirrel is assigned to hunt aliens, and Brian is now their newest recruit. These aliens, called Borderlanders, look exactly like humans and mostly live peacefully in society, but a Borderlander terrorist group has begun producing and spreading a powerful drug called Confu. Because Borderlanders can regenerate and pass as ordinary people, tracking down the trafficking network is a tough job, and the team's investigation turns up some surprising faces among the aliens. Expect sci-fi action with a mismatched squad at its center.
