Seven brothers, all knights, live in the Kingdom of Marronnier, which sits at the heart of a continent shared with seven neighboring realms. Their mother, the female general Baribara, sends each son to one of those nations as an ambassador to show that Marronnier comes in friendship. The brothers could hardly be more different: one is always sleepy, one kind-hearted, one wilts in the heat, one hates the cold, one has a way with animals, one prides himself on his swordplay, and one is forever hungry. What they share is a dream of one day rescuing a princess in dashing style. Set in a medieval-style fantasy world, the story mixes comedy, romance and adventure as the brothers head into unfamiliar lands.
