A kid too broken to be a cultivator becomes the one person in two eras willing to burn everything down to fix what was taken from him. Lin Fei doesn't get stronger because the plot needs him to, he gets stronger because the alternative is letting the people he failed stay dead. The show builds its entire world around a single vow made in blood, then asks what happens when that vow is the only thing keeping you human.

Lin Fei is a teenage boy who cannot practice martial arts because of a defect in his meridians. After he watches his master and his best friend die in a battle in the Black Abyss, he takes up an ancient art of artifact refinement. He swears to avenge them and track down the leader of the Black Abyss, even if it costs him his own life. Death should have been his end. Instead, a mysterious power brings him back in a new era, where he sets out to rebuild his sect and help it thrive. The result is an action fantasy adventure told over 26 episodes.
