Time Prisoner 2 is the second season of Shijian Qiutu, a 12-episode action ONA. The story builds on the first season's setup. In 2060 the Organization of Emergency Affairs gathers elite agents from around the world into the Bureau of Paranormal Defense to handle supernatural crises, and the best of them form an ace unit called the Phantom Squad. Three years earlier, on a mission to recover a treasure, Captain Hao Yuan trusted too easily and led the squad into an ambush set by Derrick's team. Nearly all of his comrades died, and Hao Yuan went over a cliff after Derrick sabotaged him, but he absorbed the Stone of Immortality, the very treasure they had been sent to retrieve.
