Triage X commits harder to its own absurdity than any show has the right to. There's no pretense here, no narrative scaffolding to justify the constant explosions and constant skin, it just builds mercenary nurses who execute the guilty, then finds ten different ways to blow something up before you can ask why the plot doesn't make sense. If you're watching for the action spectacle and character designs instead of coherence, that unapologetic momentum becomes its own kind of honest.

Mochizuki General Hospital runs like any other medical facility during the day. After hours, though, a small group of hospital staff and local teenagers become Black Label, a team of mercenary assassins led by the hospital chairman. They hunt down society's worst offenders, such as arms dealers, crooked politicians and gangsters, and remove them before their evil can spread. Arashi Mikami joins the team after surviving a terrorist attack that takes his family and best friend, when the surgeon who saves his life turns out to be Black Label's commander. Every member carries a dark past, and all of them are deadly at their work. Between missions, Arashi and the women around him keep landing in racy, suggestive situations, which blends ecchi comedy into the action and drama.
