Oguri Cap's streak breaks and suddenly she's not the story anymore, she's just another horse trying to prove something against a field that's bigger than her pride. The show doesn't let her stay the underdog once she wins. It trades that narrative for something colder: the weight of being hunted, the isolation of a rival who actually matches you, and racers arriving from everywhere else with their own hunger. That's the real race, not against Tamamo Cross, but against the machinery of competition itself, and against what it costs to stay on top when staying on top means no one sees you as human anymore.

Oguri Cap burst onto Japan's racing scene as an unstoppable force, but her dominance has hit a wall. Tamamo Cross, the sport's reigning champion, has beaten her and named her as a rival. Yet that's only the beginning of her problems. International racers are converging on Japan, each one eager to prove themselves, and several of them are entering the Japan Cup, raising the level of competition there like never before. Backed by the people close to her and driven by a fierce will to win, Oguri Cap must push beyond her limits if she hopes to conquer the Japan Cup and keep racing toward the top.
