This is the one that exists mostly because Urusei Yatsura hit ten years on air, and it shows. The plot is a mess of contradictions that fans still argue about. What saves it is the same thing that's always saved this franchise: Ataru and Lum's dynamic works even when everything else falls apart, and watching them navigate Lupica's chaos feels like catching up with characters you've known for a decade.

Lupica, one more space princess who has somehow learned about Earth, arrives and abducts Ataru. She has no interest in him romantically. What she wants is the most powerful love potion in the galaxy, which she means to use to get her sweetheart to marry her. Obtaining it requires the person with the greatest lust in the universe, and that turns out to be Ataru. This feature film mixes comedy and romance with sci-fi action and adventure, set around one alien's marriage scheme.
