Violet trying to write what she doesn't understand, love, becomes a mirror for everyone around her learning to feel again. Each rejected letter is someone else's failure to name what matters most, and Violet listening to that silence is the whole point. The animation swells when the words finally arrive, because the show knows a letter is just proof that someone was paying attention.

A celebrated opera singer, Irma Felice, asks the CH Postal Company to transcribe a love letter, and Auto Memory Doll Violet Evergarden takes on the job. Irma offers very little information and asks Violet to write from her own feelings instead. Every draft Violet produces falls short in Irma's eyes. Violet turns to her colleagues, who write love letters of their own to help, but Irma turns those down as well. As a final attempt, Violet asks Irma directly for her true thoughts and feelings. This unaired OVA episode came with the fourth home video release and sits between episodes 4 and 5 of the TV series, a quiet drama with touches of romance and fantasy.
