The Demon Lord returning after twenty years of self-imprisonment doesn't reset the board, it tips it sideways, forcing every faction to recalculate who they actually are when the rules change overnight. Su Baiyi's rescue of Xie Kanhua becomes the hinge that shatters the fragile hierarchies the first season built, and suddenly characters are fighting not just enemies but the weight of what they owe each other. This is the season where martial arts politics stops being about winning tournaments and becomes about surviving the people closest to you.

Xie Kanhua faces execution at the Shanglin Celestial Palace. When Su Baiyi tries to rescue him, the palace falls apart, and Su Baiyi is carried off by Su Jian, a demon lord who spent twenty years shut away in a secluded prison by his own choice. The Hero Conference convenes once more in Xuanwei Town, where Bai Jile draws in Divine Official Xue, ranked the second-best martial artist in the world, and the martial arts world descends into chaos. To save the wounded Nangong Xi'er, Su Baiyi travels with Su Jian to North Kunlun to see Su Suomo, the Su family's ancestor, while Yuling heads to Qingcheng Mountain and Feng Zuojun to the Demon Town to train. Meanwhile the Yingzhou Immortal Island resurfaces, and its invaders challenge the martial artists: submit and thrive, or resist and be destroyed. The result is an action fantasy adventure told over 32 episodes.
