A demon who ruled entire realms finds everything that mattered stripped away, then meets a human girl who doesn't care what he used to be. The story moves like a blade, each episode carves closer to why a being of that power would choose smallness, choose her, choose to stay. It builds to something that feels less like a happy ending and more like redemption that actually costs.

Sun Wukong, a great demon who held sway over the demon road in a former life, is at the center of this standalone tale set apart from the main Xi Xing Ji story. His adventure ties him directly to Guozi, a human girl, and the bond between the two drives the story. The four-episode ONA mixes action and adventure in a fantasy setting.
