SYNOPSIS
Youyu is a fragile Asura boy whose entire world shatters the day his tribe is slaughtered before his eyes. Seized by an ancestor and dragged into an agonizing ritual of rebirth, he survives a crucible of torment that awakens something dormant within him: the battle senses of a god and a technique to fight with pure soul. Years later, hardened and transformed, Youyu reunites with Shigure, his only surviving connection to his past. But the brutal hierarchy that governs Asura society demands a price he cannot pay. When Shigure falls victim to the very laws that chain his people, Youyu's path becomes clear. Power is the only currency that matters in this savage world, and he will accumulate it at any cost. What begins as a journey toward strength becomes something larger: a rebellion against the system itself. Youyu sets out to become king, to rise above the endless cycle of predator and prey, and to remake the laws that govern his entire race.
