Nobody talks about this one. Yawaraka Atom takes Astro Boy and deflates him into a literal squishy tank, then watches what happens when the world's most pathetic superhero still has to save it. The comedy lands because the show commits completely to the bit instead of winking at the camera.

Yawaraka Atom is a short comedy ONA from 2007, running four episodes. It parodies Astro Boy, also called Atom, by reimagining the familiar hero as a soft, squishy tank. In this form, Atom sets out to put a stop to catastrophe and to fight evil. Perfect for viewers who enjoy a light spoof of a familiar hero.
