A slave's refusal to break becomes the foundation for everything he builds, but the show never romanticizes the climb. Every power he claims costs him something irreplaceable, and by season five, you're watching a man who cracked the code of immortality realize that surviving forever means burying everyone who mattered. Fang Han's ascension was never about triumph; it was about the price of refusing to stay on his knees.

Yong Sheng 5 is the fifth season of the Yong Sheng franchise, released as a 26-episode ONA that mixes action, adventure and fantasy. The franchise centers on Fang Han, who starts out as a lowly servant bound to a household and refuses to accept a life in bondage, preferring to make his way through the world alone. Earlier entries follow his rise through supernatural powers, and this season continues his story.
