A chancellor gets yanked into another world and decides it's a vacation. That's it. That's the entire permission structure the show needs to let Lizel dismantle every isekai expectation you're carrying, no destiny, no world-ending stakes, no reason to be anything other than genuinely curious about the people around him. Gil exists in the same narrative space, and the show knows exactly what it's doing with two competent men who keep choosing each other's company. The comedy lands because it trusts you to see what's happening before anyone says it out loud.

Lizel, a gifted young chancellor serving a powerful nation, is abruptly pulled into another world in the middle of a conversation. Rather than panic, he takes it in stride and treats the whole thing as a vacation. Relying on his intelligence and charm, he sets out to become an adventurer and learn how this unfamiliar place works. To help him, he hires Gil, an experienced top-ranked adventurer who usually works alone, as his guide and bodyguard. Confident he will find his way home eventually, Lizel decides to enjoy guild life in the meantime. The result is a relaxed fantasy adventure with a slice-of-life feel, following a noble on an unexpected break from duty.
