Xu Ying lives as a humble snake-catcher in a world fractured by chaos. Demons infest the land, corrupt officials strangle the people, and worst of all, the Netherworld has begun its invasion. Wild gods serving that dark realm terrorize villages and towns with impunity, treating mortals as worthless. Furious at the way ordinary people are abused, Xu Ying rises up and commits the forbidden crime of slaying a god, then kills a useless court official as well. Now both the mortal world and the Netherworld want him caught, and he is forced to run. The 30 episodes of this action fantasy ONA center on his life as a fugitive.
