Luo Lie, a young man, is chosen by accident and pulled into another world, where he has to live under someone else's identity. The setting is a newly reimagined take on Investiture of the Gods, with fresh versions of figures like King Zhou, Jiang Ziya, Su Daji and Yang Jian, alongside emperors, saints and primeval gods and devils. Rival factions of every size carve up this world, and deadly threats lurk everywhere. Homesick but tenacious, Luo Lie leans on a mysterious power he gained when his soul crossed over to push past his limits and build a reputation. As danger and scheming close in, he finds himself on a hero's road he never wanted, with his childhood sweetheart helping him along the way. The result is an action fantasy adventure told over 26 episodes.
