Takumi stumbles into fatherhood by accident and never looks back. The show refuses to make parenting a burden or a problem to solve, it's just the entire point, the reason he gets up every morning in this new world. You're watching a man become a dad, and it costs nothing but his time, which turns out to be everything.

Takumi Kayano, a 28-year-old man, dies because of a careless mistake by Silphyleel, a god of wind, and is reborn in the fantasy world of Etelldia with an array of magical powers and a limitless inventory. He arrives in the Forest of Gaia, where powerful monsters roam, and comes across five-year-old twins who have survived there thanks to their enormous physical strength. Charmed right away, he names them Alan and Elena, becomes their guardian, and signs up with an adventurers' guild to support his new family. What follows is a relaxed fantasy adventure with a slice-of-life focus, as Takumi looks after the twins and watches them grow, while their presence may shape the fate of the world.
