Goku bounces through a world of adventure with the energy of a kid who refuses to sit still. Rather than a diligent, eager pupil, this Goku is a thoroughly mischievous boy with a modern attitude and a rough way of talking. Running for 39 episodes in 1967, the TV series mixes comedy with fantasy, drawing its humor from a hero who is far more troublemaker than model student.
