Shizuka, the eldest daughter, still lives at home and shows no sign of getting married. Her mother is irritated with her and at the same time worried that her chances at marriage are slipping away. Shizuka gets along with her sister Ikumi even though the two of them fight, and their father feels henpecked in a house full of women. The family seems perfectly ordinary, yet odd incidents keep happening to them, and the laughs come from those moments. The show is a short-episode comedy and slice of life adapted from a manga, and it aired as one of three relationship comedies aimed at women that were broadcast on the same day.
