Anime Like Akuemon
A man hired to slaughter a thousand foxes finds himself married to one. She's supposed to seduce him into stopping, instead she falls for him while watching her people die. SYNOPSIS
A warlord receives a prophecy: he must hunt down a thousand foxes to seize the throne. He hires Akuemon, a gruff outcast nobody wants around, to carry out this brutal task. The foxes fight back by sending one of their own to infiltrate his life, disguised as a bride. What begins as a scheme becomes something neither of them expected. Akuemon has spent his entire existence hardened against connection, moving through the world unloved and unloving. The fox woman enters his home with a mission, but as she watches her companions fall to his relentless hunt, something shifts inside her. She starts to see the man beneath the monster everyone claims he is. The story becomes a quiet tragedy wrapped in fantasy. Two creatures from opposing worlds find themselves bound together, caught between duty and the dangerous pull of genuine feeling.
