Mariko Kouda's voice sits in the space between a lullaby and a secret. The animation moves like it's remembering something gentle rather than showing it to you. One episode is exactly the right length to let the song settle into your chest and stay there.

Ame no Chi Special is a single-episode music video for a song performed by Mariko Kouda. The piece was featured on NHK's Minna no Uta program. Its visuals pair animation by Fumio Ooi with live-action footage of scenery, setting the animated sequences alongside real landscapes to accompany Kouda's song.
