Nobody expects a one-minute music video to hit like this. A kid walks through rain-soaked streets while the song builds, and by the time the sun breaks through, you understand why this aired on a children's program, it's about the exact moment you stop waiting for things to get better and realize they already have. The animation doesn't showboat. It just holds space for Kitri's voice to do the work, and that restraint is what makes it stick.

Ameagari is an animated music video set to the song of the same name by Kitri. The single-episode piece was featured on Minna no Uta, a program broadcast by NHK.
