When interdimensional rifts called Hairou tear open, separate worlds are fused together. Teenage girls suddenly awaken mysterious abilities known as Exceed, and they come to be called the Progress. An academy for these girls stands on Seiran Island, an isolated spot in the Pacific. Saya Sougetsu, a girl from Earth, sees her Exceed power as a chance to make a difference and eagerly signs up to defend against Ouroboros, an alien species that wants to hasten the end of the universe. There she meets Amane Ayashiro, another girl from Earth, along with fighters from the other worlds. With everything on the brink of ruin, only the Progress can save it, and the girls must show that their new bonds are strong enough. Expect a fantasy adventure with ecchi elements.
