A girl chosen by accident finds herself in a contest designed for the chosen ones, and the only weapon she has is the ability to actually care about the men around her. Romance here isn't decoration, it's the mechanism that saves the world. Angelique wins not because she was destined to, but because she loved first.

Angelique Limoges is a regular schoolgirl who is summoned to the Sanctuary of the Queen of the Cosmos. There she learns she has been picked to compete to become the next Queen. The contest asks each candidate to draw on the powers of the Queen's nine Guardians to develop a barren continent. Her rival is the polished Rosalia de Cartagena, who has prepared for the examination her whole life, while Angelique is clumsy by comparison. Surrounded by nine handsome Guardians, she must weigh ambition against love in this two-episode fantasy romance OVA.
