A girl eats an angel's halo by accident and starts birthing rainbow mushrooms. That's the entire promise, and the show commits to it with zero apology. The comedy lives in that gap between "this makes no sense" and "yes, we're doing this anyway," which is exactly where the best stupid anime lives.
Botan Ichige has always dreamed of sharing a tea party with angelic girls, so enrolling at St. Asmaria All-Girls School with her best friend Shinobu Itoko feels like a step toward that wish. The rumors about the school turn out to be true: angels really do live there. After an accident, an angel named Un offers the pair her halo to eat. Swallowing it has strange side effects, and Botan and Shinobu start to 'give birth' to colorful mushroom-shaped objects on a regular basis. Botan is upset by the lewd ordeal until Un tells her that her wish will be granted if she lays one hundred thousand of these 'eggs.' Encouraged, she sets out to reach that goal. The special is a one-episode comedy with ecchi and fantasy elements, built around a deliberately silly premise.
