A kid and a mouse build a boat from nothing and sail into a story that doesn't care about keeping them safe. Captain Silver is hunting them because he wants what they want, and there's no compromise coming. The treasure isn't the point anymore by the time they find it.
Jim works the inn with his mouse companion Gran, both stuck in a rut of endless chores and dreary routines. Their days blur together until a mysterious stranger walks through the door carrying something that changes everything: a map to Treasure Island. The promise of adventure suddenly feels within reach. They build their own little boat and set sail in search of fortune. What they don't account for is that someone else wants that treasure just as badly. Captain Silver commands a crew of wild pirates bent on claiming the gold for himself. Jim and Gran find an ally in Kathy, the rightful heir to the map, and together the three must rely on their wits to reach the treasure before Silver does. The result is a seafaring adventure film about Jim, his mouse friend and a treasure hunt against pirates.
