SYNOPSIS
Rakuru, a Western vampire with ambitious ideas and boundless energy, transfers to a prestigious academy where youkai, ghosts, and all manner of supernatural creatures study alongside one another. Thrown into the role of class representative almost immediately, she charges forward with plans to modernize the school and shake up its traditions, much to the bewilderment of her new classmates. The school itself is perfectly calibrated chaos. Between a kappa obsessed with cucumbers, a fox spirit with questionable judgment, and various other yokai just trying to get through the day, Rakuru's Western reformist attitude clashes hilariously with centuries of supernatural school culture. Her enthusiasm rarely matches the actual problems she encounters, and her solutions tend to create even stranger situations. What unfolds is a rapid-fire comedy built on character interactions and absurdist humor. Each episode piles on gags without pretension, letting the inherent comedy of a vampire trying to be a responsible class rep speak for itself. The show never takes itself seriously and neither should you. If you want comedy that moves fast and doesn't overstay its jokes, this delivers exactly that.
