A kid nobody knows appears in the middle of everything, and the whole world just makes room for him. Anpanman doesn't question where Kurun came from or what he means, he just includes him, and that's the entire emotional core right there. When the black stars fall, it's not about saving the world from destruction, it's about protecting the place where a lost child finally belongs.

Everyone in Anpanman World is busy getting ready for the yearly Star Festival when an unexpected arrival appears. An egg turns up in Baikinman's garbage box, and when it hatches, a mysterious boy named Kurun comes out. He has no idea where he came from, but he spends his days playing and having fun with everyone. Then black stars start raining down from the sky. Suspecting that something strange is happening at the Star of Life, Anpanman sets off to find out. The film is a lighthearted fantasy comedy for the whole family.
