A child's doll comes alive for one purpose: to discover what it means to exist before the light that created her burns out. Anpanman meets pure, unfiltered joy in her, the kind that doesn't need justification. Baikinman's envy, the same force that always breaks things, becomes the clock ticking against her life, turning a simple festival story into something that asks whether a few perfect days matter more than forever.

As the Star Festival approaches, a celebration of the stars that grant life, Anpanman discovers a doll someone has thrown away. A Star of Life awakens her, and she becomes known as Dolly. Dolly fills her days with play, believing that pleasure is the whole point of living. Her Star of Life starts to dim, and meanwhile Baikinman constructs a giant robot shaped by recollections of how he himself came into being. The fantasy adventure film was shown as a double feature alongside Kokin-chan to Aoi Namida.
