Chirico finally gets a war where the absurdity matches his luck. The squad's kill attempts against him become so baroque and doomed that you stop watching a military drama and start watching a dark comedy about soldiers trying to murder their own pilot. The 2007 CG looks like PS1 cutscenes, but only Votoms fans will care enough to look past it, and they're the only ones it was ever built for anyway.

A new OVA chapter of Armored Trooper Votoms, made by the staff behind the original series. The story is original and set at the close of the war that has raged for a hundred years. The mecha science fiction is rendered in up-to-date 3D CG animation and runs across twelve episodes, bringing the franchise's armored combat into a fresh production.
