Aru Kioku is a one-episode ONA short that Hiroshi Harada produced as a demonstration piece while teaching at an art school. The class assignment behind it was to animate using inexpensive supplies bought at a 100-yen shop. The music was also made as part of the coursework, with Harada and his students playing it together.
