Harada made this short 8mm animated film while he was still in high school. A young man is ground down by bullies and by a harsh, militaristic school system. He copes at first by retreating into daydreams and fantasy, but he eventually resolves to fight back. Unhappy students seize control of their school, yet with no firm plan or shared philosophy behind them, their uprising begins to fracture. The film blends drama, horror and psychological elements.
