This is a love letter to people who already said goodbye. The epilogue stretches time around a classroom that doesn't exist anymore, letting you sit in the quiet after the ending instead of cutting to black. It costs you nothing but an hour to remember why that class mattered, and the show knows you'll pay it.

Former Class 3-E students Nagisa Shiota and Karma Akabane go back to their old classroom at Kunugigaoka Junior High to look back on a single school year that changed them. The desks, the chalkboard and the class album bring back memories of Koro-sensei, their strange octopus-like teacher. On his first day he warned that he would destroy the world unless they killed him before the year was out. The movie compiles the TV series and adds epilogue scenes made only for the anime, mixing action and comedy with a supernatural twist.
