Battle Break is a single-episode action ONA from 2011, based on Bandai's trading figure battle game. The story takes place a hundred years in the future, when four great powers go to war across the solar system. Earth's Empire fields mechanized forces. Gaia's resistance fighters are hybrids of beast and human. Coeurl commands creatures produced through genetic engineering, and an alliance of aliens from across the galaxy makes up the fourth side. The short first screened at the Jump Festa 2012 event in Tokyo in December 2011 and was later released on YouTube.
