Battle Flag of the Stars Tokubetsu-hen is a single 2001 special that condenses the Seikai no Senki TV series into one recap, with new footage added to the material drawn from the show. The genre labels are action, romance and science fiction, so it pairs space-set drama with a romantic thread, retelling the series in a shorter form.
