Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance gets a set of six short bonus episodes, with one included on each Blu-ray and DVD volume of the series. Every special is linked to a new 32-page short story that Shimizu Yuu, author of the original light novels, wrote for the limited first pressing of that volume. The specials fall under comedy, ecchi and fantasy. They work best as rewards for collecting the physical releases, treating viewers to content that feels designed specifically for fans who want to spend more time with this world without the pressure of advancing the story.
