Blue Cat is a curious, upbeat cat who always wants to see new corners of the world. His adventures range from trips into the deep sea to outings alongside dinosaurs, and he often brings friends such as Feifei, a clever and crafty fox, and Taoqi, a mischievous mouse with a taste for adventure. Blue Cat can act on impulse, and his rash choices tend to leave him with nothing but trouble. Each outing draws on science or science fiction, and as the group runs into problems, the episodes answer science questions that Blue Cat raises along the way. The result is a long-running series of short comedy adventures with a steady focus on learning.
