Maple breaks the entire game by refusing to engage with it on its own terms, and the show knows this is hilarious. Season 2 leans into the absurdity, she's not a hero grinding toward something, she's a force of nature who stumbles into power because she played the tutorial wrong and never recovered. What keeps it alive is the genuine warmth between guild members who have no reason to tolerate this walking tank except that she somehow makes them better just by existing.

Alongside her guild, she roams NewWorld Online through fresh quests full of battles, armed with ever stranger defensive abilities. After strong showings in earlier events, the now famous Maple Tree guild is eager to explore the new floors added to the game. Season two pushes Maple's tanking approach even further. Each of her guildmates hunts for more powerful skills to widen their options in future fights, while the guild also builds friendly ties with prominent groups like the Kingdom of the Flame Emperor and the Congregation of the Holy Swords. Led by their eccentric guild master, the members keep finding inventive uses for their skills, much to the dismay of the game's developers, in a fantasy comedy with plenty of action.
