It gets in your head in under two minutes and stays there for years. That "kuma kuma kuma kuma" refrain is Utada Hikaru writing for NHK's Minna no Uta and refusing to talk down to kids, which is exactly why adults ended up looping it harder than the target audience did. The stop motion is the other half of the trick: handmade texture, visible seams, a bear who moves like someone is nudging him frame by frame, so every clumsy little stumble reads as affection rather than animation error. The whole thing is built on the simplest kid logic there is, listing what he is, what he isn't, what he likes and doesn't, and somehow that lands softer than any grand statement could. No stakes, no themes to unpack, nothing to survive. Just a bear, a perfect pop hook, and a minute where nothing hurts.

A clumsy bear stumbles through life in this charming stop-motion musical short. The story unfolds through song as the bear discovers who he really is and who he isn't, what brings him joy and what doesn't. Each musical moment reveals something new about this earnest, fumbling character as he navigates simple situations with endearing awkwardness. The animation style is tactile and warm, crafted with visible care in every frame. Colors pop against carefully constructed sets, giving the whole piece a handmade quality that feels genuine and intimate. The music drives everything forward, turning everyday moments into something whimsical and worth celebrating.
