Rygart's transformation from someone who refuses to fight to someone who has to carries actual weight because the show never wastes time on speeches about destiny. The mecha designs feel lived-in, detailed enough that you believe these are machines people have been piloting across a whole war. This is four movies deep into a story that knows exactly what it is: a brutal escalation where each battle costs more than the last, and animation that refuses to cut corners in showing you exactly what that looks like.

Broken Blade 4 is a 2010 action, fantasy and mecha movie from Production I.G. Fourth Break Blade Movie.
